 Day #6 

Hi there! Today Lexie and I were back in the dining hall baking except Barb was with us as well again today! Today we focused on making homemade Oreo truffles for Ives and Davis. Barb was very excited about the truffles and Lexie and I were too. We started off by crushing a bunch of Oreo cookies which would then be mixed in with cream cheese. This is a very simple baking process, one of our easiest yet, although they are so so delicious and one of my favorites! These truffles were a little bit special because on top of the Oreo and cream cheese there was a white chocolate and semi sweet chocolate ganache. Since it was Saturday Lexie and I had a game so we only were in the kitchen for about an hour and a half, although we got the job done with the help of Barb! Stay tuned for another blog post.
