Day 2

Tuesday, May 11th

Today was the second day of my senior project. Today we started on making our first batch for students. We made homemade red velvet cupcakes, I tried one and they were delicious. I also served my homemade rolls at lunch and it was funny to see all my friends coming through the lunch line and be able to serve them my own food. We also made muffins for tomorrow's dinner. Around 7pm Lexie and I delivered the red velvet cupcakes to Carriage East, Carriage West, and Ives. I got a compliment from Caroline Coyne who said that the cupcakes made her day. This made me happy because this was our goal for the senior project, to give back to the community and reward them for all their hard work and give them a little push for their final weeks left of school! I am looking forward to another day of baking tomorrow, stay tuned!
